L.C.A.C. Welcomes New Executive Director, Rebecca Shellenberger

Rebecca Shellenberger moved from her home in Colorado to attend UNC Chapel Hill. She studied Archaeology and spent several summers in Peru working on a dig site with the University.  She and her husband decided to put down some roots in North Carolina and ended up in Sanford.         

Rebecca comes to us with plenty of experience working with non-profits.  She spent several years working through Mennonite Voluntary Service as a full time volunteer.  Her long-range goals are to help the Board of Directors set clear goals for the Arts Council, and ensure that they are executed well, as well as to raise the profile of the Arts Council in Lee County
